“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
A famous quote by Mahatma Gandhi
I truly agree, I believe we should try and learn new things.Β

As we all know a lot is going on in the world first the lockdown, then the Earthquakes and now the cyclone just too much to deal with. This is eating us all up so I came up with some creative ideas to do at home…
This blog is all about being creative and keeping ourselves entertained…

Soak Some Art

From Dancing to Doodling, people stuck at home are finding new space for creativity.
Learn a new style of dance from Salsa to Bhangra 😜😜

We are all creative. Yes, you too. Creativity is something that exists in every single one of us. Since you have all the time in the world let your inner artist unleash its creativity. Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun.

Netflix & Chill

Grab some popcorn or khakhra…Seriously I won’t judge! 🀣🀣
This is the time to binge-watch all the series and shows that you have been missing out on due to work. Here are some suggestions: These are some amazing series that I have binge-watched:

  1. Never Have I Ever
  2. Orange Is The New Black
  3. Narcos
  4. Money Heist
  5. Big Bang Theory

Also suggesting some of the series on Amazon Prime

  1. Panchayat
  2. The Family Man
  3. God Friended Me
  4. Made In Heaven
  5. Inside Edge
  6. Young Sheldon

Keep A Gratitude Journal

In these tough times, everybody needs to stay positive and what’s better than having a diary of things for which you are grateful. We all have that one diary or journal kept somewhere in our cupboard thinking it will be used for a special purpose, now is the time to take that diary out and use all the colorful pens you have in the world to write your thoughts.

End your day by listing all the things you are grateful for. Maybe a warm cup of coffee you had, a favourite television show you watched, or mummy cooked you your maan pasand dish…🀭πŸ₯° There is always something to be grateful for – always. πŸ’“

Organize Your Closet

Take advantage of this time to fix up your closet. Who knows you may find some things to be nostalgic about. Also, try on all your clothes and do a fun fashion show for yourself and your family.
Also, you can store your clothes in pairs so once the lockdown 5.0 ends and it’s time to go out no more time is wasted wondering what to wear. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Tip: When you get rid of old clothes you create space for new ones. πŸ˜œπŸ˜‰

Have A Family Night Game-a-thon
Turn off all that you have been doing and Tune in for an amazing family time. Have a family game night marathon. We have all played games with our friends but have we ever played games and cheated 😜 with our parents? It’s as fun as it sounds.Β
These are some of the games I recommend you’ll to play with your Star Pariwar:

  1. Name Place Animal Thing
  2. Antakshari
  3. Monopoly
  4. Pictionary
  5. Card Games

Create your own games and rules “Mah Games Mah Rulezz” 🀣🀣
We have all played cards during Diwali but this lockdown has turned my whole family into gamblers. Gulam Chor, Mangus, Do Teen Panch. You would be wondering what is this, these are the card games that my family and I play almost every night. So a short funny story to share, my father made a rule saying whoever loses will have to do all the “Kapda and Bartan” the next day. And guess what who lost that night….. *Drum Roll* My father πŸ˜†πŸ˜† and I’ve never seen my mom laughing this hard ever before 🀭

You’ll be thinking I missed out “Ludo” but do I need to mention the national game of our country now 🀣🀣

Unlock Your Inner PhotographerΒ

Who doesn’t love photography? I was always fascinated by photography.
As a child I used my Kodak Camera to capture people and places, I had no idea about framing or anything related to photography and I still am very much interested in it, now I don’t have the Kodak Camera nor a DSLR πŸ˜‰ but I have my phone and here are some random collection of pictures I’ve clicked.

Everybody likes clicking their own photos, but are not satisfied with those boring normal pictures. There are many youtube videos out there that can teach you new and innovative ways to click your own pictures and also you can learn to edit your own photos.

Make A Vision Board

Even after doing all the things mentioned above we would still miss going out. This lockdown has allowed us to think and focus on what’s important and plan the coming year, improve on our personal and professional skills.
We all somewhere in our mind have a picture of what our life should look like..the dream car, house, adventures you want to experience and the list goes on…So why not take it out and put in on a board and solve the puzzle.
First things first make a list of all the things you desire to do and then create a vision board, collect some pictures related to the things, and make a frame.

It will be a masterpiece that hangs on your wall to give you inspiration everyday. πŸ˜‡

Learn a new skill

There are many live streaming classes that may catch your interest. You can enroll in any of them you like and learn something new. Always keep working on yourself. Learn Cooking, Read Books, Meditate, Learn A New Language, Learn Photography, Photoshop, Coding and many more but Most Importantly Stay Home & Stay Safe

Tip: Do Whatever Makes You Happy
